This page in a nutshell: Bots are automated or semi-automated computer programs that can perform various tasks in order to maintain the wiki. All bots on K6ka's Wiki must be harmless, helpful, use separate accounts, and be approved before they are put into use.

A bot (short for robot) is an automated tool or computer program that can perform repetitive, mundane, or time-consuming tasks on a wiki. Bots can make edits very rapidly and can cause major disruption if used incorrectly. For this reason, all bots must be approved before they are permitted to run on the wiki. As bots can quickly flood recent changes during their normal course of operation, they may be assigned a special "bot" user permission that hides their actions from recent changes by default.
